Deaerator/Boiler
Feedwater & Condensate Surge/Make-up Systems
All
EnviroSep, Deaerator/Boiler Feedwater & Condensate Surge/Make-up
Systems are designed and manufactured as an integrated package to
provide consistent pre-heated boiler feedwater for continuous operation-configured
systems, while removing corrosive oxygen to below 0.005 mg/l. EnviroSep
Systems carry as standard an Underwriters Laboratories (UL) Listing
as a Packaged Pumping System, come equipped with an integrated, UL-Listed
Industrial Control Panel, and are guaranteed to provide the performance
specified. As a manufacturer of Totally Integrated Engineered Systems,
such as: Heat Transfer Systems, Reverse Osmosis & Wastewater Reuse
Systems, and Wastewater Heat Recovery Systems, EnviroSep offers a
unique alternative to stand-alone systems. All systems are fabricated
and welded per ASME, Section IX Code and Standards and are hydrostatically
tested prior to shipment. The offerings of this brochure do not fully
illustrate the abilities of EnviroSep to custom design and manufacture
Integrated system for nearly all applications.

Condensate Return from the facility is returned to the Condensate
Surge Tank. The Surge Tank is sized to allow for wide fluctuations
in condensate return levels.
-
Softened,
Make-up Water is blended with the returned condensate. The Blended
Water provides a consistent quality of water which creates a more
balanced operating system.
-
Blended
Water is then transfered to the Deaerator.
-
Blended
Water enters the Steam Chamber in conical sheets, where a pressurized
steam atmosphere saturates the Blended Water to remove corrosive,
non-condensible gases.
-
Final
Deaeration occurs as the water passes through a high velocity atmosphere
of pure steam, where the last traces of harmful gases are removed,
while similtaneously preheating the water to boiler feedwater conditions.
-
An
internal vent allows the non-condensible gases to be released to the
atmosphere.
-
Preheated,
deaerated Boiler Feedwater is stored in the Deaerator Vessel.
-
Treated,
Boiler Feedwater is transfered to the Boilers through a continuously
operating pump system.
NOTES:
Actual Pump configuration and horsepower are based on specific head
requirements; i.e., normal boiler operating pressure including piping
losses to boiler system.
Vessel and Tank sizing is based on a 10 minute retention time to normal
operating level. Actual retention time may vary due to specific site
conditions.
Dimensions and weight of quoted system may vary from above tables
due to discharge head, clearance at specific location, boiler operating
pressure, etc.
Overall deaerator height based on 120" Frame
Overall condensate surge height based on 72" Frame
Actual, available softened water pressure/flow and available steam
pressure may cause variance to the above tables.
Decrease in height of 120" deaerator frame and 72" condensate
surge tank frame is available at customers request. The frame heights
given in the above tables, offer optimum efficiency of the system,
while ensuring that the system meets design requirements.
