The Model VCON, Vent Condenser is a manufactured unit is used for the recovery of valuable flash steam normally vented from steam systems. A complete ready to install unit, the Model VCON provides for the pre-heating of make-up process fluid. Each Unit is custom engineered and designed to meet specific system requirements. All systems are fabricated and welded per ASME Section IX Code and Standards, and are Hydrostatically tested prior to shipment.

Max. Allowable Temperature: 375 oF

1. Savings are based on max. potential savings at max. capacity on 8400 hr./yr. of continuous operation
2. Steam costs at $7.50/MM Btu
3. Savings assume no back pressure on Vented Flash Steam.
4. Water side flow rate based on a 100 F temperature change from 50 F to 150 F.
